Dr. Fouad Bousetouane

Dr. Fouad Bousetouane is a prominent figure in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning, currently holding the position of Director of AI & Innovation at W.W. Grainger and serving as the Co-founder and CEO of AskFalak.ai, the pioneering Arabic search engine powered by Generative AI. He possesses dual Doctorate degrees in AI and Pattern Recognition from the University of Badji Mokhtar-Annaba, in collaboration with LISIC lab and CNRS-Lille, France, and also holds a Ph.D. accredited by the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. His postdoctoral studies were conducted at the University of Nevada’s Real-time Intelligent System Laboratory. Dr. Bousetouane's career is distinguished by numerous accolades, such as the Timmy Award for Best Tech Manager in 2020, the 'Best Innovation of the Year' award from AIJRF-Dubai, and recognition as one of the top 30 AI scientists globally by MIT Technology Review Arabia. His research interests are wide-ranging and include data-driven decision-making, Computer Vision, Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing, and Generative AI. With over 40 research papers, more than 25 patents, and numerous trade secrets in high-performance Edge-AI systems to his name, he has also been honored among the top emerging leaders by Marquis Who's Who Emerging Leaders, 2024.
