Shireen is a Certified Internal Auditor and an Anti-money Laundering Specialist. Her professional background spans over a decade, acquiring expertise in Audit, Internal and External, Risk Management, Governance, and Compliance. She spearheaded the digital transformation initiative and paved the way for technology advancements within Control Functions, namely Internal Audit, Risk Management, and Compliance, implementing an end-to-end Integrated Risk Management System. Her strategic initiatives include evaluating and integrating cutting-edge automated/digital tools such as Robotic Process Automation, Data Analytics, and Data Visualization to enable Continuous Auditing and Monitoring and Combined Assurance methodologies.
